How are we funded? The NCSCD is part of your community. It's members are your friends, neighbors, and family. Our funds are used to improve their quality of life and we are dedicated to facilitating the integration of the physically disabled into the community. The major community fundraising event we host annually is the
Wheel-A-Thon. This
event brings together families, interested persons and athletes, both
with a disability and able-bodied in a celebration of active living! Participants
will run, jog, wheel, walk or in-line skate in a series of fun and physical
activities. We cordially invite the general public to participate or attend
to cheer us on! National Access Awareness Week, community fairs, local recreational events, provincial and community tournaments, and public speaking engagements are the other venues we utilize to raise funds, educate and attract new persons to our cause. Thank you for your support! |

to help us with the BBQ, water stations, set up and clean up of the event.
