The National Capital
Sports Council of the Disabled Inc. is a volunteer body which was
established in 1983 to promote sporting opportunities for persons
who have a visual or hearing impairment or a physical disability
in the National Capital Region.
Our Mission....
To assist, fund and provide administrative support to organized
sport programs involving persons with a physical disability
To promote organized sports programs and special events involving
athletes with physical disabilities
To promote the development of new sporting activities and athletic
training opportunities for junior athletes with disabilities to
encourage their development and personal growth
To be the collective voice for disabled sports in the region
of Ottawa / Carleton
